Results from a very successful outing to Corrstown golf course is as follows: Adrian Canny 40pts, Paul O'Rahilly 33pts, Wally Roode 32pts, Peter Gorey 27pts, Jimmy Murray 26pts, Owen Kyne 19pts, Ian Corr 10pts. The guides were: John Foley, Fergus Sealy, Joe O'Reilly, Tom McGrane, Alice Canny, Colm Maher, and John Kenny. The arrangements for this outing were made by Peter Gorey. Owen Kyne plays in his first British Open on Wednesday 6th August. Jimmy Murray goes to the World Championship on the 9th Aug. The programme about Jimmy Murray and blind golf goes out on Monday 18 Aug. at seven thirty on RTE 1 |
