Irish tenpin bowlers in Malmo 2009Irish Blind Sports is delighted to announce that tenpin bowlers Margaret and Catherine Leacy have done themselves and IBS proud at the Malmo Games: they won 3 Golds and 1 Silver: Margaret Leacy was first in the Ladies Singles winning the Gold medal, followed by her sister Catherine as runner-up, winning the Silver medal. Catherine and Margaret then went on to win the Gold medals in the Ladies Doubles "Malmo Open organisers were generous and kind, and deserve our gratitude" says Jim Harding, Co-ordinator and Coach of IBS Tenpin bowling. Well done to all our tenpin bowlers and many thanks to Jim and Mary Harding!
