Glory for IBS Footballers


July 2009

Last night, the IBS Footballers defeated England 3-0 in the 5th and 6th place play-off in the IBSA European B2/B3 Football Championships.
This was a fantastic performance from Ireland, who dominated the game from start to finish. It was also a significant personal achievement for Ian McLoughlin, who scored a hat-trick (all three goals).
Congratulations to Robert, Tommy and the boys for a magnificent achievement in being ranked 5th best team in Europe – our highest ever position.
