Jason breaks 100m record in Tullamore

On Sunday June 28th, Jason Smyth of Irish Blind Sports and City of Derry AC broke his own 100m U-23 record and qualified for the 2010 European Outdoor Championships in Barcelona, by winning the 100m in a spectacular 10.42 at the Woodie's DIY National Junior and U-23 Championships in Tullamore.
This is a top class performance which moves the IBS double Paralympic gold medallist Smyth to fourth in the Irish all time 100m list.
