Irish Blind Golf Society Results from Hollywood Lakes G.C. 18 Hole Competition, March 20th, 2009

Roode Plays Home Advantage.
Wally Roode, playing on his home course, scrambled his way to 32 points on a breezy day in Hollywood Lakes. Wally put in a consistent performance to take the honours. Adrian Canny and Jimmy Murray shared second place. Low handicapper, Peter Gorey, scored a creditable 27 points to record the lowest gross score of the day, with 95 shots.

Hollywood Lakes has recently refurbished its new clubhouse. The society members enjoyed a fine meal and prize giving in this pleasant new environment. Our thanks to Michael Corcoran for inviting us to the course, and indeed to Wally Roode for sponsoring the prizes.
Results: W. Roode (30), 32 points, J. Murray (43) 30 points, A. Canny (19), 30 points, P. Gorey (14), 27 points, P. O'Rahilly (22) 15 points, O. Kyne (36) 6 points (nine holes).
