Results from Elm Green G.C. 18 Hole Competition

Adrian Canny edged out the opposition at Elm Green G.C. with an impressive 38 points. He got off to a fast start, playing the first six holes in level par gross. This contrasted with his performance on the par three holes racking up three double bogeys out of four. Nonetheless he finished with a two point margin over closest rival Jimmy Murray. Adrian is a 19 year old first year physiotherapy student at T.C.D..This is his fourth year playing with Irish Blind Golf. Since starting college, he has been playing with the T.C.D. golf society. In early March he represented his college in a friendly match against Oxford University, at Portmarnock G.C.

Jimmy Murray played consistently to card 36 points. Jimmy should be satisfied with his current form. His preparation for the British Blind Golf Open, in Hamilton Scotland in June, is well on track. Third place went to Sam McMahon, with 30 points.

Results: A. Canny (19), 38 points, J. Murray (43) 36 points, S. McMahon (36), 30 points, P.O'Rahilly (22) 28 points, O. Kyne (36) 16 points

Order of Merit (Current Points): A. Canny (70 points), J.Murray (68 points), P.O'Rahilly (46 points).
