Neil O’Donovan & Diane Ryan Leaving IBS

October 2009

It is with considerable regret, and after careful consideration, the Board has had to take strong action to limit staff costs incurred by the organisation. The uncertain financial circumstances existing at the moment made this difficult decision a necessity. Therefore for the time being there will be no staff present in the office on a day to day basis. Both Neil O’Donovan & Diane Ryan have now left IBS.

Neil has worked with IBS since 2003 and in that time has overseen many positive changes in the organisation. We wish to record our thanks to Neil for all his work during the last number of years and wish him well in the future.

Diane Ryan has also moved on to new challenges and we wish her well also. She has been a fantastic help to Irish Blind Sports and the first voice of the organisation since she joined IBS. We wish her well in the future.
