Football

The Irish B2/3 Futsal team is planning to break the World Record for the longest game of Futsal in the world. The record stands at 32 hours 20 minutes, and was achieved in a school in Natal, Brazil on 22-23 August 2009. We plan to play for 40 hours in total. Using 2 teams of 12 players each.

Details are as follows:

Teams: Alpha FC ( Made up of 8 IBS Players) and Shamrock Rovers
Venue: Ballymun Arena
Date: 19.00pm Friday 30th of April – 11.ooam Sunday May 2nd (Total 40 Hours).

An Official Guinness Adjudicator will also be present throughout the record attempt. Television, Radio & Newspaper Media will be on board to try and raise the profile of this record. If anybody would like to attend this event or to sponsor the team please feel free to do so.
