Competitive Futsal

February 2010

Alpha FC (which is an integrated team is made up of mostly visually impaired players) is due to participate in the FAI Futsal Cup. This is a competition of 32 teams from all across Ireland. Alpha FC are in a group with Sporting Fingal, Bray Wanders and Dublin Santos with the top 2 teams qualifying to the last 16. Details below:

Leinster Group 3 – Sporting Fingal, Bray Wanderers, Alpha FC, Dublin Santos FC.

Venue: BRL Umbro Arena, Trinity Comprehensive School, Ballymun, Dublin 9.

Date: 20th February 2010
Time: 12 noon to 4pm

Last 16 teams are to be played on Saturday the 26th February.

The Quarter Finals to be played on the 6th of March.

The Semi Final and Final are to be played on Sunday the 7th of March.

All support for our visually impaired team members is very welcome.

After the Futsal Cup Alpha FC will enter the Futsal League which is due to be played from April till October more details will follow once the fixtures have been confirmed.
