Paralympic Skiing

Efforts are once more underway to identify potential athletes to compete in Paralympic ski events. We are very interested in hearing from male or females with all levels of visual impairment who are already able to ski to a reasonable standard and who are interested in being considered for assessment. Paralympic Skiing is very competitive but we would like to see if we can take part in the future. This is an effort to identify potential talent so we are especially keen to hear from younger skiers interested in going fast and who are willing to train hard – this will not be holiday time! Congratulations to the group of younger skiers who went to Austria in January with the assistance of Feach and the Ski Club at Kilternan. The word is that everyone enjoyed the trip and skied well.
