Swimming

Our swimming coordinator Frank Cullinan has written to a large number of pools around the country to inform them of the commencement of a new monthly swimming session for people of all ages and abilities with a visual impairment.

This session is geared towards those who are interested in learning to swim, improving their swim stroke technique; want to swim for leisure or who would like to consider becoming involved in competitive swimming

The session details are as follows:
Westwood Leisure Centre, Clontarf, Dublin 3

50m Swimming pool (which is of uniform depth throughout its length)

Sunday afternoons - 2 hours session – 2 lanes reserved for exclusive use of IBS

This session is free of charge at the present time.

There will be coaches available to teach those who wish to learn how to swim and to show those who can swim how to improve their technique. If interested please contact Frank on frankcullinan@yahoo.ie or info@ibsports.ie
