Futsal News

March 2010

We are pleased to report that two of our visually impaired players, Paddy Coates and Ian McLoughlin from our B2/3 Irish Futsal team have been called up by the FAI to train with the National Futsal squad. This is a fantastic achievement for the players, coaches and management of the B2/3 Futsal team and heralds the possibility of a visually impaired player achieving a full international playing cap alongside their able bodied peers. They will now attend regular national team training sessions in addition to their usual commitment to the B2/3 squad. Well done to both players and we look forward to further success in the future.
