Rowing NewsMarch 2010Our congratulations go to Shane Ryan and Aron O’Dowd who won a Gold and Bronze Medal respectively recently in the World Indoor Rowing Championships held recently in Boston, USA. This is a hugely credible performance where he saw off strong performances from the larger rowing nations of Australia, Great Britain, Canada and America. Shane has been showing steady progress in the sport of rowing over the last year and earlier this year was in the coxed fours boat that won their B final in the World Championships held in Poland. This was a wonderful performance.
