Glory for IBS Athletes at Paralympic World Cup
Irish Blind Sports Paralympic sprinter Jason Smyth, from Eglinton in Northern Ireland, broke his own 100m world record in his first competitive start of the season on May 11th, recording a time of 10.85 seconds.

Football tournament
On Saturday, November 3rd, the IBS footballers hosted a 4- team tournament at Blanchardstown Institute of Technology. The tournament kicked off at 12pm and ran until 6pm. All games lasted 30 mins and were refereed by two Eircom league referees.

Tyrone Swimmer, Stephen Campbell will represent Ireland at the International Blind Sports (IBSA) World Games in Brazil from 1st-6th August 2007. This is the first World Games for Stephen, who is aged 21 and from Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.
